Hi my friends. I am a working actor offering short term, one-time, or long term coaching for booked work, auditions and callbacks. I also offer short term, one-on-one acting coaching for those who are just beginning their journeys as actors and are looking for some support.
I have worked professionally as an actor for over 10 years. I work primarily in film and television, though I began in and have worked in the theater as well. I began my journey as an actor in Texas, and it led me to Los Angeles. The undeniable nature of this work is that it is inconsistent. Ebbs and flows. Ups and downs. You work, and then you don't, and then hopefully you do again. This has been my experience, and it is why I offer these sessions. It's a two way street: To keep me afloat through the ebbs, and to share my experience to keep you or get you in the flow. It is also a way to "work" when the work isn't coming. Because that is the other undeniable truth about this work - you have to be consistently working on your self, your craft, your soul, your mind... even when you aren't "working".
I work with actors who are struggling in their auditions, want to work on their auditions with a professional, or who are looking for a little guidance. Sessions generally run up to 2 hours, depending on the work being done. We may meet once, we may meet again, whatever you are looking to get out of this, we can work it out.
I am not a guru. I am not a full-time acting teacher. I am not a master or believer in any one specific method or ideology. I do not believe in over-used, over-shared acting "advice". (Such as "it takes at least 5 years..") I do not believe in any one specific truth in regard to being an actor, other than truth in the work itself.
Sanford Meisner, Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Susan Batson, Roy London... these are some of the great teachers whose work has taught me and influenced me.
My work can be seen on HBO, IFC, CBS, ABC, The Paramount Network, Netflix, and in several studio and independent films.
