I grew up in West University Place in Houston and entered the appraisal business in 1983. My dad had a small real estate sales and appraisal company since the 1960's and I worked for him for a few years before going to work for a couple of the larger appraisal firms in Houston for the next several years. I became a state certified appraiser in 1991 when the TACLB was formed and began requiring that appraiser's be certified. I moved to League City, Texas in 2000 and opened my own company at that time. Having grown up in the Greater Houston/Galveston area, I have a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the markets and housing trends in this region.
In addition to my appraisal career, I was a Professional Firefighter/Paramedic/Inspector for the City of West University Place Fire Department from 1990 through 2010. I retired in 2010 after 20 years of service.
I am FHA certified and perform residential appraisals not only for many lending institutions across the state and the nation, but also for real estate professionals and individuals. I mainly service Galveston, Harris, Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties.
