DESIGN PROCESS
We take pride in designing and developing for you a perfect affordable and original living space that you can enjoy and will be worth your investment. We use high quality materials in every phase of the installation process. We will examine your space and figure out the proper drainage, soil condition, irrigation, measurements, and square footage and work with your budget to create and transform your back yard. We pride our self on Quality in everything we do.
GROUND PREPARATION
We start off with ground preparation by locating all Irrigation and electrical lines and internet lines which may be under the surface of the project area. We locate and cap all unwanted irrigation/sprinkler heads and raise any sprinkler heads that you want to keep. We then turn on irrigation to verify everything works correctly before we start. We do the same with any existing electrical lines and internet line also. We then remove and clear out all grass, rocks, and unwanted materials from project area. We bring in 2 inches of crushed granite over entire project area. Then properly grade, slope project area for proper drainage. We then compact entire project area with plate compactor to prevent turf from ever having soft spots or being uneven. Then we cover entire project area with weed barrier to prevent anything from growing through project area.
TURF INSTALLATION PROCESS
We unroll and stretch the synthetic grass across the top of the prepared project area. We carefully cut the artificial turf an 1 inch long to fit the project area and we tuck all edges of the turf to prevent turf from gapping or wrinkling over time. We seam together pieces of turf with either 6 inch staples or seam tape and glue. We then secure the artificial grass around project perimeter with 6inch 60D nails.
TURF INFILL
Proper infill installation is critical to maintaining your artificial grass system. The materials used to infill the artificial grass help to protect the synthetic grass from the elements while maintaining the blade structure and level design. We use 1-2 pounds per sqft of infill. If you have pets we use hero fill for pets which will keep turf sanitary and will prevent turf from smelling or growing any mold, fungus, or bacteria over time. If you don't have any pets we use regular infill which is silica sand for infill.
PROJECT CLEAN UP
A project is never completed before cleaning up properly. Our skilled team of installers will always sweep and remove all infill material, tear out material and base material from the surrounding hardscape, planter areas, staging areas and swimming pools. Every day project area is always cleaned up and organized.
