I am unique in that I focus my teachings on the craft of communicating in performance. I treat movement as a dialogue with the audience. It is important to me that the dancer pull the viewer into his/her world and not just make it a spectacle, which it already is. I feel it is important to reach beyond the "show" of dance and create a memorable experience for the dancer and viewer.

The thrill for me is when I witness the dancers discover something new in their abilities.
