I apply the utmost professionalism, integrity and thoroughness to my instruction as well as to the manner in which I keep in touch with my students. Clients have told me that I am the only instructor who ever emailed, called and/or continued with followup communication. I spend several hours per week in correspondence with clients and first-time inquirers .
Your time and money are valuable, so I plan ahead and spend my own time at home calling my students about their preferences, so that I may prepare the music and lessons accordingly before the lesson ever begins. You will get instruction for the full amount of time you pay for---not valuable wasted minutes during the lesson as to what your interests are and then several minutes deciding what music to choose, etc. I have even gone over on time by several minutes with no charge to my students, as I do not leave them with loose ends. It is more important to me that you tie them up nicely. Hence, I do not add those loose ends to your next lessons over time but, instead, you leave with a sense of completion and with a fresh beginning on your next lesson.
In addition, my rates are for a full one-hour (not only 50 minutes). I also offer discounted rates for a longer duration per session to save us both time and money! Moreover, my rates (especially with my discounts) are extremely competitive, without compromising quality, professionalism or integrity.
Although I am genuine, sincere and generous in my praise, I will not sugar-coat your problem areas, as that would be an injustice to you and a waste of your money and time. Instead, I will gently inform, guide and encourage you to help master these areas. I believe in teaching my students proper technique from the very beginning, even if it is difficult--so that my students know how a move should be executed, how it should look and the importance of its proper execution. It is not necessary to achieve this immediately, but you will be properly educated and have something to continue to improve upon, encourage and challenge you.
I am passionate about ballroom and social dancing, and so everything about it is fun and enjoyable!! I most love creating dancers from non-dancers and seeing the excitement they experience during the process! My professional desire and goal is to help foster confidence, joy and love for dance in my students by empowering them socially, emotionally and spiritually through the art of social dance---so I am elated, when I see these things come to fruition!
