Mr.Salsa has been dancing ever since he can remember. He was inspired to learn Latin Dance from his parents dancing at family parties.
He starting teaching Salsa, Latin, and Ballroom when he was in high school at Diablo Valley College and other venues in the Bay Area. When he went to college, he expanded himself with other dances such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Break dancing, Popping, Tutting, Waltz, Bachata, Mambo, Rumba, ChaChaCha, East coast swing, and more.
He found one of his many passions and love for Cuban salsa known as Casino, Cuban Rumba Folklore, and Rueda De Casino, where you dance with multiple couples in a circle and you are constantly switching partners with fun and intriguing moves!
He’s definitely considered one of the top heavy weight dancers in the Bay Area with over a decade of experience performing, competing and teaching at many different locations, venues, and festivals in San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver Washington, San Carlos, Palo Alto, Miami, Hawaii, Texas, and more! He is bringing the heat to the dance floor to show everyone his drive and passion for dance while incorporating his own fusion of different styles of dances adding a unique "Flavor" and "Style" to his Choreographies and Classes.
Don't be shy to ask him for a dance if you see him social dancing, he is more than happy to dance with you in or outside of class.
