Juinier Quintero was born in Cuba. At a very young age he developed a love for dancing and music. He participated in dance competitions, festivals, and auditions. At the age of 18, he enrolled in Higher Institute of Art in Cuba (ISA), a very prestigious art academy in Havana, and among the top in the country. He graduated after 4 years with an enormous knowledge of Cuban dances, e.g. Salsa, Son, Rumba, Mambo, Cha cha cha, as well as Afro-Cuban folkloric dances. Soon after graduation, he joined the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional of Cuba as a professional dancer. This gave him the opportunity to be part of important roles, like acting and dancing in a movie called "Dancing for my Havana," now available on Amazon Prime Video. In 2013 he was invited to come to the United States as part of the first annual Cuban Cultural Festival in Tampa, FL. Currently, he is an established dancer, teacher, and choreographer who works with Ife-Ile Dance Company, and has worked with Sikan Afro Cuban Dance Project, DAF Studio, etc. He is experienced with children and adults, and makes the experience of dancing fun and easy.
