My name is Erika Shadowens, and I am a divorce and family law attorney licensed in Michigan. I represent people in divorce, child custody disputes, grandparent rights, prenuptial agreements, relocation and grandparent rights cases.

INITIAL CONSULTATION: Each representation begins with an initial consultation that can be scheduled directly with Erika’s team.
You will be required to provide us with basic contact information so that we can ensure there are no conflicts, and a consultation appointment to occur virtually, by phone or in-person at one of our office locations can be scheduled.
At the initial consultation, you can share the details of your legal matter and Erika can outline a legal strategy for you, and her approach to handling your divorce, child custody or family law matter.
REPRESENTATION
Erika and her team will get to work and draft appropriate pleadings, investigate the facts, and work with you to prepare you for every step of the legal process, including court hearings, discovery, mediation, negotiations, evidentiary hearings and trials.
