DCM has been creating in the North Carolina community and music entertainment business since 2009, starting as a music producer and graphic designer. He has designed various cover art and album cover art for local up and coming artists as a side hustle, and first step to get into music business. Following that in 2011, he became an event disc jockey (DJ), performing a variety of events in the city of Fayetteville starting from small neighborhood birthday parties, performances at high school proms and banquets, family gatherings and recreation events.
Since then, DCM has progressively expanded his performance portfolio with various wedding ceremonies/receptions, college greek-life campus events and block parties at his alumni North Carolina Central University, Elon University, NC State University and at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, live in concert performances, and local music festivals.
In the year 2014, Ohio-based photographer and former emcee Michael Thornburg (f.k.a. Thornbro) and DCM begin performing at local live hip-hop concerts in Chapel Hill, and since then DCM has shared the stage with legendary rappers Big Pooh, Brand Nubian, popular recording artists such as Cousin Stizz, and various local North Carolina artists; DJ'ing along side acts such as Alex Aff, Jooselord, Kooley High, $wank & King Draft, Liion Gamble, Dom Martin, and Tracy Lamont. Plus song production and music collaborations with Yung Yankee, Deejay Riley, Kamus Leonardo, and more.
DCM founded 326 Entertainment (f.k.a. 1F2L Entertainment), a performance booking and promotion company for local artists, and later created 1F2L Media, a multimedia and content production company for artists, photographers, and creatives to
collaborate and release their desired content, music, or media.
