My name is Tara Balestrino, and Id like to personally thank you for considering doing business with me! As someone new to the training industry, I am very much a learn as I go person and am aware of the ever changing methods used to make living with our canine friends an awesome experience for all! And some not so much...with that in mind, my company will be rooted in natural, pain free, easy to understand and implement training methods and will never put owner or pet in harms way, and won't break the bank! My training methods will be "no nonsense" common sense tips and methods to assist in typical behaviors such as puppy teething, basic commands (sit stay, come), jumping and counter surfing; to more advanced behaviors such as food aggression/resource guarding, reactive behaviors on the lead, recall training and heel work. Like anyone in such an evolving industry, with studies coming out all the time on how we can adjust to living with our 4 legged friends, I am always tweaking and adjusting my ways with every dog I come across. There is no cookie cutter method. If one thing doesn't work, move on to the next. I believe in balanced training, and will adjust my training to the individual.
Something I will always say to ALL of my future clients: "We're in this together." You will never hear me say the words "give" and "up" in the same sentence! My partner in crime is my very own rescue dog. Past unknown, but his future is certain with me. He will be the face of my learnings so far and is very much my nanny dog! His temperament calms even the most hyper puppies and he is more than capable of putting others his size in check. By using his confidence, it very much helps in cases of dogs that have not been taught proper social cues and behaviors. There is no one better to teach a dog to be a dog, but another confident dog!
With all this being said, I once again would like to thank all who have read and considered this far to allow me the chance to get my name out there with your closest members of your family! Ownership is tough, challenges we don't expect hide in every corner. But do not fret! I am always willing to hold the hands of those in need and will not hesitate to assist in any and all levels of growth with you and your companion.
