During this consultation I will do a behavior and home assessment- Looking for any signs of fear, aggression, anxiety, underlying behavior issues, daily stimuli, and environmental factors.
From there, I will begin putting together a curriculum that supports your pet’s development, well being, and your ownership goals.
That curriculum will cover the following, based on my observations:
Basic obedience, and establishing a healthy relationship with boundaries.
Impulse control
Socialization skills. (People and dogs, sounds, environments, smells)
Leash skills and recall
Unwanted behaviors such as nipping, biting, jumping, barking, humping, manners.
Reinforcing boundaries
Crate training and “place” command
Proper nutrition
How to recognize your dogs body language and behavior
Communication skills with your dog
Dog psychology
