About

I own and operate the North Carolina School of Percussion, the largest percussion school in the state. In addition to offering onsite instruction, the school is a leader in providing Distance Learning (online) lessons through a unique app where students have access to all materials and their instructors 24/7.

My performance experience includes work with Hubert laws, Lionel Hampton, Grover Washington Jr., Don Ellis, Paula Abdul, and The Carpenters.

I am a member of the Percussive Arts Society, ASCAP, and the Jazz Education Network. the D’Addario Education Collective, the Sabian Education Network, and the Vic Firth Educators’ Counsel.

My students can be found performing in major label recording studios, and on international music tours.
