Hello and welcome! My name is Roshie – a dedicated and passionate English and Farsi teacher, who takes great pride in the attention to and commitment of an individual’s goals in improving their speaking, reading, and writing of English or the Farsi language. I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages achieve their goals, whether it is school children or college students needing to improve their reading, writing, or speaking skills, or adults needing to improve their professional or day-to-day communication skills no matter what their language speaking background may be. I would love to help you achieve your goals!
I have several years of experience working as an English teacher to individuals and groups who’ve spoken many different languages, and understand the difficulty of being able to have conversations with others who speak English as a native language. As a child who grew up in another country, I learned to speak English from a young age. Although I learned to speak English well, I still found it difficult having conversations and interacting with native English speakers after moving to the U.S. Because of this, I feel a connection to ESL learners and am passionate about helping them. Since that time almost 20 years ago, I’ve worked part-time as an ESL teacher and coach throughout my academic and professional career as it brings me great satisfaction.
Whether you speak English as a second language (ESL), and would like to improve your speaking or would like to either learn or improve your Farsi speaking ability, I would love to help! I teach all aspects of the English and Farsi languages; from reading, writing, and listening, to conversational skills. I work with all ages and take great pride in personalizing each lesson to best fit each individual's learning style, making learning fun, and most of all, helping my students achieve their goals!
