I've worked on a professional level with children of all ages for many years in a public school setting. As a Professional Face Painter, my goal is to assist in making your event a positive, memorable experience for the planner and guests. I also can be quite FAST ~~~ if there is a line waiting (which there usually is because they say, "it's worth the wait"!). Let me know if you would prefer the very simple, QUICK designs and we will roll them on through the line as speedy and efficiently as possible. I can limit the number of choices which helps with that.
I offer face painting for all ages - kids * children * teens * adults * seniors! For birthday parties, picnics, company picnics, wedding receptions, neighborhood get-togethers, sporting events, festivals and corporate venues, add a face painter for some unique art fun at your event.
Your hired professional will travel within the greater Puget Sound region and vicinity with a 2-hour face painting minimum for distances beyond my hometown radius. Travel charges may apply for long distances.

Illustriddler, LLC provides a wide selection of choices for all ages, and I enjoy creating requests if the client can provide design(s) for clarification.
My rate is variable and billing can be done in 1/2 hour increments if extra time is requested and if it is doable. I can paint full faces, cheeks, arms or combination. A large selection of colors in FDA-approved paints makes for interesting choices and I enjoy working with both children and adults.
A typical design takes 3 to 5 minutes per person. In average, I can probably paint about 12-15 an hour. This is, of course, subject to intricacy of designs chosen. I remember painting 60 children in just over two hours. If you do the math and think about the time it takes for each child to get settled, etc. you will realize that it may look something like a sped-up video getting that many kids done so quickly. ?
A non-refundable deposit may be required for first-time clients hiring me; this will hold your spot. Balance is due on the date of service upon my arrival. I can supply an invoice or receipt for final payment.

Very professional painter with beautiful original designs
We used Karen for a school event as she was incredibly professional - and very calm in a stressful time-crunched situation! Her designs were original and beautiful. The kids loved her. She gave them lovely gifts (flower mirrors for girls, balls for boys) at the end too which the kids enjoyed. would thoroughly recommend her.

Karen painted faces at our library opening until everyone who wanted a kitty face, a princess face, a football etc. was satisfied. The art work was exceptional. She did at least 100 faces, probably more and stayed way past the time we thought we needed her. It was an exciting day and Karen made a great contribution to the fun. Each child was given a mirror so they could admire their face.

Face Painting
What can I say, Karen was the best. Her work speaks for itself. I had her come for my daughter's 4th B'day, the theme was 'Dora' and all the kids had dora painted and most went back to get more done. It was a hit with kids and parents alike.

Fantastic Vendor

A magical evening for young and old alike!
Our annual block watch party was a huge success, partly due to the face painting done by illustriddler. She was very personable and friendly with everyone in attendence. While people were waiting in line, there were books of face painting ideas to look through. She took her time with all of the kids and adults, giving them a professional looking painting on their face, arms or hands. She even took special requests. Everyone left extremely happy and most people came back for more! She was a big hit with everyone on our block and we will definetly ask her back next year.
