I have represented clients in family law matters in Colorado, New Mexico, and the Navajo Nation. Having worked in several jurisdictions, I profoundly understand that preparation, pragmatism, persistence, and empathy are the necessary prerequisites for providing excellent representation in family law. In every case, I strive to secure positive results with a lasting, beneficial impact for both you and your family.
Prior to practicing in Colorado, I worked for DNA-People’s Legal Services, a Navajo-run legal aid that provides free services on the Navajo Nation and in New Mexico. In law school, I advocated for a number of indigenous causes, including representation on behalf of several Navajo organizations. I have prepared wills for members of the Navajo, Southern Ute, and Ute Mountain Ute tribes as part of the Tribal Wills Project.
I moved to the United States from England as a child, and grew up in Lake Oswego, Oregon. While in Oregon, I studied anthropology at Portland State University. After graduating, I briefly worked as a field archaeologist for various cultural resource management firms across Oregon and Washington. I have worked on public events, including Portland State University’s archaeology roadshow. In my spare time, I enjoy venturing into the mountains, playing with my two large dogs, and watching horror films. I fervently support Arsenal FC, the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Denver Pioneers.
