Why do I do this?
My teenage years were tough—filled with insecurities and body shaming, challenges that followed me into adulthood. I’ve faced rejection and unsolicited advice from strangers. But fashion has been my savior, helping me shape my identity and stay motivated. With a family background in tailoring (thanks to my mom and grandmother), I’ve always had a keen sense of style.
In 2015, I started my Instagram account, Jojotheblinggirl, because I love adding a bit of sparkle to my outfits. I’ve always believed that when you feel good on the inside, it reflects on the outside. But on days when self-acceptance is tough, a great outfit can still make you shine.
