I have had an amazing career working for a number of fortune 500 companies, and most recently with the Federal Reserve Bank Of New York.
Like many other Solopreneurs, I too had a budding passion. For over two decades, I learned and taught personal finance topics – budgeting, credit, debt management, investing, taxes (co-owned a tax practice for over 20 years), and wealth building to individuals and small business owners, providing workshops at churches or non-profits or one-on-one coaching.
This passion was primarily driven by my background. Coming to America alone as an undocumented 16 year old, I saw everyone around me with no financial knowledge, and living paycheck to paycheck.
I wanted something different for myself and my family, and set out to equip myself with the tools to allow me to build wealth.
One of the things that has remained true, even on my professional journey, was that many individuals making multiple six figures were also struggling financially because they did not know how to manage their money.
During the final semester of completing my MBA, I made the decision to create a financial education platform to teach professionals and small business owners how to ditch bad debt and create a 6/7 figure retirement income by developing healthy money habits.
