I own a renovation company and have experience since 2003 in upscale homeowner renovations, full gut rehabs, and rental properties (owned and managed over 20).
I pride myself on timeliness, excellent communication, problem solving, customer satisfaction and a positive / clean onsite experience. I am often hired as a concierge for select homeowners that want to deal with one person to handle a variety of home improvements and renovations. And, also work with commercial clients that can benefit from the same.
I perform many projects myself and typically handle projects that require a professional approach, and/or necessitate good problem solving expertise.
Working in this large DMV area, my quotes will include a $75 trip charge in addition to the hourly rate. (We travel between 30 min and up to an hour one-way sometimes.) This fee will cover some of the travel to and from the site, fuel costs, overhead and Thumbtack lead costs. If this fee structure that compensates for time and overhead costs is an issue for you, please select another provider. We are busy and have many clients that value the service and expertise we provide.
For water mitigation projects, I have a significant amount of experience and competency. I offer a "discount" to Thumbtack clients for diagnosing the various issues related to water intrusion and their recommended repairs.
