?Creative Brief
Anyone who wants to work with a graphic designer should be able to articulate what they’re looking for and what goals the design assets need to meet. A key step in our graphic design process is to establish a creative brief. This document will capture all of our client’s wants, needs, and other key project specifications.

?Research Market
Research is an important part of what we as the graphic designer do. We'll use our findings to inspire original ideas, solidify the overall design approach with other stakeholders, and back up the design decisions we make later on.

?Develop & Refine
Armed with our design brief and a wealth of information from the research process, it’s time to start building out the framework for what the assets will ultimately look like.
Depending on what we’re working on, the concept development and refinement stage may involve sketching out thumbnails, mockups or graphic elements.

?Create the Design
Once all stakeholders are in agreement and we have all that we need to proceed with the design, it’s time to execute the project. During the design stage, we will be expected to implement our best practices related to the use of color, typography, hierarchy of information, and positive & negative space.

?Critiques from Client
Depending on what type of team we're working with, this part of the graphic design process may include; submitting
the design work for internal review, explaining how our design decisions align with the creative brief and the direction we agreed on. We will gather feedback from stakeholders, confirming our next steps and present this new version to the rest of the team after making the requested changes.

?Finalize & Deliver
Now that we’ve gotten final approval from all stakeholders, we’re ready to deliver the assets in the appropriate formats. The assets will be packaged so they’re ready for production and can be easily implemented into whatever digital or print format your recipients need.
