Hello! My name is Connor Evans, and I've been teaching guitar and playing professionally for the last 10 years, 5 of those here in NYC. I received a Bachelor's in Music from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in 2017 (top 3 music school in the US). Teaching is my passion. My greatest strength is being able to breakdown complicated subjects for new learners. My specialties lie in jazz, classical, improvised music, rock, and blues as well as composition (Downbeat Award recipient) and music theory. Inspiring people to find joy in music is my goal, I'll curate specialized lessons and steps to help reach your goals. Plus my rates are excellent! I'm located in Sunset Park off the D N and R trains at 36th St, but I also travel to students if it's more convenient.
