I am a guitarist, composer and educator with a bachelor's degree in music from Berklee College of Music and a master's degree in Jazz Performance from Hunter College. I have recorded and put out multiple albums as well as performed all over the country playing with indie rock bands, jazz ensembles and everything in between.
I teach students aged 10 and up and welcome all levels of experience from total beginner to more advanced players. My focus is teaching the language of music through songs. We will focus on melody, different types of chords, scales and how they relate to a given song, improvisation concepts and technique. I teach from my home in Crown Heights, Brooklyn as well as virtually.
