Hello, my name is Joseph Deslatte owner/ operator of wood crafters. I’ve been in the construction business before I graduated grade school. By the time I got out of school I was a foreman of a flooring company for about 4 years before I moved on to learn more, soon after flooring I took on framing and Sheetrock work and continued doing so for about a year until I moved on to painting. The company I painted for one day decided not to pay me so I then started my own company! “Wood crafters” work was slow starting up so I took on a job as a supervisor for a dock, piling, and bulkhead restoration company which didn’t pay me enough but definitely taught me some new skills I’m proud to have acquired!
