Matt began painting at the age of 17 when a family friend trained him on old Victorian home restorations in Cashmere, WA, and it just stuck, which started his career path for over 32 years
Matt has become a leader in the NW paint industry. He owned his first painting business in Seattle, Washington, from 1996 to 2012, then he relocated to Oregon and started as the general manager for a Portland based Painting company. After 5 years as GM, Matt decided to open Murrayhill Painting with a goal in mind to build the best, most honest, quality oriented company on his own in the Portland area.
Matt is an expert at hiring, training, and managing crews working on all aspects of residential and commercial painting. From small to large upscale interiors, Cabinet Repaints to large exteriors, fine finishes, and specialty coatings, Matt has the skill and experience to ensure a successful project every time.
Our ultimate goal is to help every customer feel happy and excited to see their new fresh colors & finishes, whether it be on their interior, exterior, or cabinet refinishing.
Between March 1st & March 15th, 2023, we are offering 12 % discount on Labor for Jobs over $3500.
