I've been gardening in the Northeast for more than 20 years, and I understand the unique challenges and opportunities of creating low-maintenance gardens that thrive in our climate. My new project, Raincarver Studios, is a landscape and garden design studio that draws on my background in horticulture, design, art, performance, and sustainable practices to create unique sanctuaries for my clients. With a focus on native alternatives to invasive species and high-performance ethically-propagated plants, as well as bespoke displays and self-sustaining enclosures, I tackle some of the most challenging aspects of gardening. Whether it is strategizing for low-maintenance, high-heat, low-light, soil remediation, pest-resistance, child and pet-friendly environments, or other considerations, I'll meet the challenge to create the garden of your dreams.
