I believe it's never too late to change directions; never too late to change your life. My name is Alexis and my focus is quality, consistency, compassion, and honesty. I will take the time to make sure you're 100% happy. I feel everyone should do the things that they love and or leave something that doesn't fulfill them. To me inner peace cannot hold a price, if you aren’t at peace things will definitely feel chaotic and out of sync.
I am certified in Life Coaching. I have a Bachelors in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on Corrections and Juvenile Restoration. I also have my Masters in Forensic Psychology with an emphasis in Abnormal Behavior. I was a single mom for 13 years, and a young mom. I have 3 beautiful children that have helped shape me as a person. I am re-married, once divorced. I have military background as far a being the child of and the ex-spouse of veterans. I put myself through school, I have worked jobs that I am proud of; along with my bartending and serving jobs, they helped me network and relate to people on all levels. I am relatable and come with lots of life experience.
My passion for working with the adolescent population has lead to me to a lot of positive employment opportunities. I have worked with troubled youth, youth with autism, youth impacted by trauma and violence. I have worked as a forensic interviewer of children and as a victim advocate within the court system; both children and adults. I have also helped run youth sports leagues. I have worked with police officers and alongside attorneys. However, my passion doesn't stop there. Navigating through adolescence is a rough time and sometimes a little extra guidance or a different type of guidance is needed/preferred. Sometimes as adults we are looking for someone to debrief with from those difficult jobs or tasks that we have to tackle in life. I can help with that. I also believe as our youth navigates through the changes, and societal pressures- I can help with that too. My gift is being able to talk to just about anyone and being empathic. I believe as adults we always hit crossroads where we are unsure what we should be doing and how we should get there. Or we are worried of hurting others feelings and rightfully so, but we are forgetting that we need to take care of ourselves first before taking care of others. We also run into wanting to change something but not wanting to live uncomfortably but sometimes that is needed to move forward.
I have the utmost respect for daily schedules and am aware sometimes we need something outside of the normal 8-5 day. I can be flexible and also accommodating as long as it works for the both of us. Email is a quicker way to reach out but I am also available by phone.
