What have I overcome?
I have overcome major depression after the loss of my first born child, I have taken steps to heal wounds from toxic relationships, and I worked very hard to find my happiness again after grieving the loss of my brother.
What have I accomplished?
I am the proud mother of a beautiful and talented gymnast, I am in a healthy and loving relationship, I make my living doing what I love, and I am determined to live my life on purpose!

In 2004 I earned my BSW from Alabama State University
In 2010 I earned my MSW from The University of Alabama
My Experience
With almost 20 years of therapeutic social work and admissions counseling experience, I have worked with many different people transitioning through many different stages in life. My professional journey has allowed me to work with teenage moms aging out of foster care, busy adults applying to college, military families adjusting to life after deployment, and triaged violent & suicidal clients. Over the years I worked hard to obtain/maintain my skills to build rapport with clients, compassionately assess their needs, meet them where they are, and provide them with the support needed to effectively overcome challenges and accomplish their goals.
Helping others is not just what I do, it's who I am!
