Perhaps the first reason you might consider reaching out to me is I've been married to Lisa for almost 38 years. We are still learning to listen to understand (not respond), forbear and forgive, maximize each others strengths and minimize each others weaknesses. We are still learning to do inevitable conflict better. We are each others best friends, who are daily seeking to help each other toward Jesus and Heaven.
A second reason you might reach out to me is because of my experience. I have been an ordained minister for the past 30 years. For 25 of those years I served one church. I have had the pleasure of counseling/coaching high school students, singles, singles preparing for marriage, and married couples who encounter difficulties/challenges along the way.
While I DO NOT have a degree in counseling, I took counseling courses while pursuing and acquiring my Masters in Divinity at Covenant Theological Seminary.
Over the years I've had a number of people tell me I'm a good listener and should consider making counseling/coaching my primary focus. I am passionate about helping people live 'Beneath the Cross'.
