A gearhead through and through, I took up welding in high school and worked professionally as a welder/fabricator in the off-road industry until 2015. In 2019, I graduated from UNCC with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. My area of expertise since has been tooling for weld applications. I was one of the few engineers to design tooling for robotic and manual welding processes on the Gen 7 NASCAR Cup series chassis. During school, I worked in gas turbine machining designing tools for Siemens Energy.
Having worked in various racing disciplines, my focus is and has always been precision, quality, and repeatablility. I am someone who takes pride in their work and I would love to help you with your project.
Within my capabilites are:
- Fast turnaround times on CAD, including 3D models, dimensioned drawings (GD&T available), and simple FEA all using Solidworks 2022.
- Complete tooling design services.
Outside of tooling and CAD services, I am equipped with a Miller Multimatic 200 in my home shop located in northwest Charlotte and am able to deliver quality solutions on various steel and welding projects. From simple repairs to custom vehicle bumpers and suspension components to modern furniture.
My welding equipment is portable and I can even come to you for larger repair jobs.
