Old Orchard Mobile Notary uses the latest technology to offer online notary services. Through the use of encryption and digital certificates, your documents are signed and notarized in an environment that meets the highest standards of security. Although we do not meet in person, you can be assured that the notarization is legal in all 50 states.
When making your appointment, you will upload the document(s) that will be securely sent to the notary. Afterwards, you will receive an email that provides the link you will need to start the notarization process. You will be asked 5 questions to verify your identity. State laws allow for two attempts per 24 hour period. Once you pass, you will be asked to upload or take a picture of your ID. Finally, you will connect with our notary in Zoom meeting where you will electronically sign and the notary will electronically notarize the documents. Your documents will be available immediately after the meeting. You can either submit the electronic file or print out the document. It usually takes less than 10 minutes once the meeting begins.
You can be anywhere in the United States. And U.S. citizens can be anywhere in the world! If there are multiple signers, you do not need to be together.
Each person signing (and witnesses) will need to have:
1. Identification (Driver’s License, Passport, Government ID, Prison ID, etc)
2. Access to an email address
3. A Cellphone/Tablet/Computer that has a Camera & Microphone.
4. Ability to connect to a live virtual session.
Let us know if you have any questions! We are more than happy to help you through this process.
