My name is Donté Reid and I am an Arts Administration Professional & Producer from Bronx, NY. I am also the current Office Manager at a 501c3 nonprofit organization called the Jazz Foundation of America. In my three years at the organization I have advanced in my professional journey from an administrative assistant to office management.
As my role evolved, I have taken on various onboarding duties for new hires as well as become the main liaison between office policies, employee/ employer relations, tech support, onboarding, safety, security, & other HR related matters.
I am very intrigued with the development of individuals within the arts, education, and business communities and strive to foster an environment where they can continue to co-exist. My past work experiences include serving as the Administrative Coordinator for Playwrights Horizons Theater School at NYU, the Assistant After School Director for Wingspan Arts, the Assistant Teacher and Movement Teacher for the Fulton Daycare Center, & various arts related internships for prestigious organizations in NYC.
I am personable, sociable, a diligent worker, and work very well with deadlines. These are currently skills that I have acquired from my past work experiences and have implemented into my entrepreneurial outlets.
