I was a nanny for UHNW families for about 8 years before I started to feel stagnant in the position. As the children I watched grew up, my role with the families I worked for would transition into more of a family assistant. Instead of changing diapers and folding laundry, I was scheduling doctor's appointments and researching activities.
I enjoyed the change in responsibilities and the unpredictability of the day to day, so I started to move away from watching kids and more towards assisting families/individuals organize their lives. Eventually I took the leap and dedicated myself full time to being a personal assistant.
I've found that my personality is complimentary to the type of work I do. I have a "no task too big" mentality and I thrive in a fast paced environment. I am flexible and adaptable because I understand that the needs of my clients are constantly changing.
