My name is Chef T. L. Hooker and I have been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for 26 years. My experience is wide ranging, originally being from El Paso TX, my heart and soul is Mexican cuisine, but my favorite type of food to make has to be French and my style reflects that. I like taking influences from Asian cuisine and utilizing the techniques to create compelling, deep and flavorful taste profiles. My time in Homer Alaska and Montauk NY taught me the fine art of seafood and the amazing flavors they produce. I was mentored by highly talented integrity driven chefs, most recently at The Tower Club with Michelin Star Chef Brandon Galitz, Dallas Country Club, Lakewood Country Club, Toro Toro Latin Steakhouse in Fort Worth and Mot Hai Ba in Lakewood where I fine tuned my skills that has now brought me here to Cedar Cove Ranch, where I am grateful and fully humbled working with my clients to provide memorable meals and relationships that transcend food.
