As special prosecutor, I have represented the State of North Carolina, the local district attorney, and various local and state law enforcement agencies for more than three decades in what are called "public nuisance cases," seeing 125 of those cases to successful completion.
I served on the North Carolina Property Tax Commission and held the position of General Counsel to the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina for 25 years.
I enjoy doing things for people that they can't do for themselves. Adjusters often deliberately don't return calls to claimants. Many claimants with smaller claims give up and walk away from their claims in frustration. Adjusters will not treat an experienced lawyer that way, knowing that an experienced lawyer knows all of the tricks insurance companies use against claimants and can draft a lawsuit on behalf of his client in minutes.
