Welcome to ThoroughBred Wellness. I am an NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. My clientele ranges from men to busy moms, whom I’ve helped reach their goals. Right now, I am STRICTLY working with clients REMOTELY ONLINE via video and telecommunication.
Although I am here to help anyone who needs fitness, wellness, and nutrition guidance, I started my business to support and educate busy women and like-minded men within the demographic of people of color. Most of our communities may lack access to proper guidance on optimal approaches to fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness.
I am also very passionate about helping women of color improve hormone imbalances, such as PCOS, and help minimize the unpleasant feelings sometimes associated.
My greatest passion is assisting my clients in cultivating positive mindsets surrounding their fitness, because it can be challenging to facilitate any positive changes until we change our minds.
Wellness, fitness, and personal training are not one-size-fits-all approaches with me. My methods do not involve prescribing cookie-cutter ideologies to every client. We are all as unique in our needs and challenges, as we are in our body types and goals.
We all have different levels of perceptions and fitness, therefore, reach out to set up an initial wellness and fitness consultation! It’s necessary for you and I to establish your needs and dreams, as you are one in a million. I do not assume anything about anyone I have the privilege to train. Our initial consultation will be to individualize your plans and workouts, and tailor the training experience you chose, TO YOU.
I want to understand not just where you are now and how much you want to tone or lose. I am a personal trainer by certification, but I a value my role as much more than simply commanding you to burn calories. I want an in-depth vision of where you want to be with your total fitness and overall wellness.
Once you sign up with me, we become a team. As you are aware, the old saying goes: "There is no 'i' in the word team. We are both responsible and important, but while I am your coach, you're the MVP, the STAR! When YOU win, WE win, and to win, the team can't assume its players understand each other's individual roles. The team has to collaborate to establish strategies of execution.
