If you want someone that will treat your pet as one of their own I'm for you. The first step is to meet with you and your pet/pets and get a full history of their health, feeding, medications, likes and dislikes. I will start interacting with them and give medications if needed. This will help with bonding and earning the trust that will lessen their stress while you are away. I have 30 years experience walking and sitting for my clients. I usually walk a dog ( I have cared for everything from small terriers to mastiffs) for 30 minutes.
With cats after their feeding I like to play with them to burn off any energy or just sit and pet them. I know all the spots they like. Many times they just curl up next to me and take a nap.
I was raised with the usual cats, dogs and birds and loved animals since I put my cat in my doll carriage and a hat on my dog. I try to go the extra mile for my clients. One such. pet was a large dog that needed a special diet every three hours by hand. This was on New Years Eve. On another occasion I boarded a pug that had to have meds every 4 hours for one week. I also help them in given Lactated Ringers fluids to their pet.
