I have had animal friends my whole life. I have adopted dogs, cats, Guinea pigs and rabbits. I see them as family members. I'd rather be surrounded by animals 24/7 than be anywhere else. They do so much for me, just by being themselves. I volunteer at a shelter 2 days a week taking care of the small animals. Until recently, I worked an additional 2 days at another shelter, caring for the cats. I can provide you with references from the management there. Being a volunteer really requires one to be trustworthy and dedicated to improve the lives of the little souls who landed there. I am proud to say I just got voted "Volunteer of the Month" and that made me so happy and proud!
As far as the housekeeping goes, I have worked for myself cleaning houses as a sub- contractor and I enjoyed it! This was back in the late 90s, but I still have my notes!! .
