We are a non competitive school that prepares the student for performances and help them achieve the joy of learning to play the piano. We are located at two different places: Germantown and Rockville. Virtual lessons are also available. Amy Zhang is the director and has taught piano for almost 15 years to children as young as 4 to adults.
Amy enjoys spreading knowledge about music and helping others master an instrument. The deeper understanding is that through playing an instrument, you not only gain dexterity in your fingers, but you also work on developing faster nerve connections between both sides of your mind. Research has said we retain information better through music. We use our sense of sight, hearing, and touch to experience and remember information. Music shapes many higher aspects of brain function, including emotion, language, and other cognitive abilities.
