Ricardo (Ricky) Delgado has been raised in the Tampa Bay area for his entire life. In addition, for a good portion of his life, in Tampa, he has become a multi instrumentalist playing guitar, drums, mallet keyboards, bass, ukelele, and extensively piano. He has studied many different forms of music including classical (Romantic, Baroque, Impressionistic), Ragtime, Pop, Latin, Contemporary Christian, Broadway-styled and Jazz. He also has extensive knowledge in music theory and composition. Ricky has been teaching for for over well over 8 years from children as small as four to adults in their 70's and loves to instill his passion for music into others. Ricky currently serves as the Music Director for Cypress Creek Church in Lutz, FL and has played in a variety of ensembles, bands, and competitions with the piano.
Ricky’s goal for his students is to make learning the piano, guitar, ukelele and drums fun, and enjoyable, full of passion and excitement, just like it was for him when he learned. His main passion is in playing the piano, and to extend that passion to the younger generation of musicians. He would like to thank his grandmother for pushing him when he was younger to play the piano, helping him transform into the passion-filled pianist he is today.
