About

I teach piano by ear to student ages 10 and up, including adults.

(I also provide DJ services and equipment at private events.)

Music is a language. Think about how we learn language - we speak and listen for years before we ever read and write!

We study using real music, and I do my best to take into account the music you’re interested in.

I don’t just teach piano, but how music works - the theory that goes along with it. But don’t let that word scare you! My goal is to make lessons easygoing and fun while still pushing you to be better.

We do eventually cover reading music, but only after we build a solid understanding of how music works.

I teach out of my apartment in central downtown Houston. I can also teach online.
