Miss Olga trained through the Royal Conservatory of Music, specializing in Piano Pedagogy and Music Theory. Besides having successful studios in Canada, Andover Massachusetts, Plano and Austin Texas, Miss Olga taught at Montessori and Yamaha School of Music.
Throughout my 30-plus years of teaching, I have given much thought to the importance and purpose of a musical education. I have come to the conclusion that an education in music develops a separate intelligence as well as a love and understanding of music. My philosophy of teaching is best facilitated by a teacher who balances desire and effective instruction. The methods I use are based on a curriculum that is rooted in over a hundred-year commitment to the highest pedagogical objectives. Students closely follow a set program with each individual’s abilities and interests considered, with room left for recreational songs as well.
