Hi,
I've been tuning pianos part-time for a few years now and I believe you will like the work I do. My reviews seem to say so.
A typical tuning consists of:
- A general vacuuming of the insides (no judging).
- A basic once over to determine if there is something that would make this more of a project instead of a regular tuning.
- The actual tuning itself. This is the part that takes the most time. There are over 230 strings that need to be adjusted to each other to get the best sound.
- One or two quick repairs.
- Clean up my stuff.
- Leave your piano in tune and in better condition than when I arrived.
I am available most weeknights. Depending on the piano, it could take 3-4 hours, so as close to 4pm (4:30 in Utah Valley) as possible is when I need to start.
I admit that I'm not the fastest tuner out there. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I tend to lean more toward quality instead of quantity.
I look forward to hearing from you.
