Hi there! I'm Kay—a photographer, believer, coffee lover, and devoted dog mama. My friends and family describe me as a wanderlust spirit as I love to travel and explore.
Growing up around musicians, artistry has always been a part of my life. Although I didn't inherit their musical talent, I found myself immersed in other creative outlets like writing poetry, drawing, and of course - photography ?
I am passionate about capturing connection over perfection. I believe that is when an image truly comes to life! My style is somewhere in between posed and documentary; also known as lifestyle photography.
My entire goal is to capture images that transcend you back in time when you look back on them 20 years from now. Images you can hang on your wall as a piece of art. Images you can pass down generations from now in a photo album.
In this technological age of social media, I think we often too well forget about cherishing the moment. We often let our memories fade away in the abyss of cloud storage or social media posts. I encourage you to take the time to capture your memories with a photographer you like (hopefully me ?), so Mom can be in the spotlight for once instead of being the family photographer, Grandma can get some updated photos to hang on her wall. You can finally start building that family photo album you've always wanted but never seemed to find the time!
I am here for you! Hiring a photographer is an investment into your family legacy. Anyone can snap a photo. But it takes time and energy to invest in someone who will capture YOU exactly as you are now. Okay, maybe not right now at this exact moment, lol. But in this season of your life. Someone who can meet you where you are in life. As imperfect as it may be.
