About

I have a Masters degree in Special Education and the patience and passion to work with students to help them understand and improve their reading and writing skills! I have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that help me to get to know the student better. I also have active listening skills, which is vital in order to determine the best way to reach the student.

After getting to know a little about the student, I have the ability to develop a study plan that suits his learning style. Once the plan is in place, I can teach the student how to develop study habits that will improve his performance in this subject. I can teach him how to stay focused and motivate him to push a little harder to accomplish his goals.

I have the ability to help the student build confidence and to have a positive attitude when it comes to learning something new instead of giving up. I know how to give constructive criticism in such a way that makes the student want to work harder and I always have something positive to say that will ensure the student has a good experience he can benefit from all through life.

My skills include evaluating the student to determine how well he is learning and to make changes where necessary. I am dependable, trustworthy and my main concern is to help the student reach his goal!
