Hi! My name is Ms. Hayley and I am a certified teacher with 8 years of experience teaching children how to read. I also have experience with one on one tutoring and zoom lessons.

I am trained in Orton-Gillingham methods that I utilize in my approach to learning to read. Each of my students gets individualized goals and lessons that target the foundational reading skills that they are struggling with. I use a multi sensory approach to help maximize engagement and retention in even the youngest of learners. Most students will work on a mix of phonemic awareness, including explicit phonics instruction, handwriting, spelling, and reading comprehension throughout their time with me.

Throughout my years of experience, students generally show 1-3 years of reading growth within a school year.
