About

It is really hard to watch your child struggle to learn to read. I know this because my oldest had a very hard time learning to read. I was already a certified teacher and thought I knew how to teach reading but I quickly learned that I did not. This is the experience that caused me want to learn everything I could about teaching reading in the best possible way. Today I am a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) and teach on zoom using the same curriculum that is used in Children's Hospital to teach reading to children with dyslexia. My job is to help you succeed in becoming a good reader and I love my job.
