Since graduating from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting and Vocal Performance, I have worked as a professional singer, actress, and educator in New York City for nearly a decade. I have experience working in a variety of genres from pop to musical theatre to experimental improvisation! I am truly passionate about guiding students to develop their own artistic voice while practicing healthy vocal techniques.

My lessons are catered to you and your goals! All lessons will center around developing healthy singing habits through vocal exercises and working repertoire. Together we will work on building and strengthening vocal range, breath support, vocal tone and style, vocal flexibility, ear training, and more. The vocal exercises are the anchor to the training, and the repertoire we work on will allow us to execute those healthy habits!

I want to encourage my students to always dig deep and be authentic storytellers. To not only sing with precision, but to sing from the heart, from their gut. Once technique is in place, we will coach the song — radio pop hits, musical theatre eleven o’clock numbers, or Italian arias — we will dig in to find the TRUTH of the text and the music.

I absolutely love teaching. I have had (and still have!) wonderful teachers throughout my life who have instilled within me not only a strong practice and work method, but a true LOVE for singing. For me, there is nothing more exciting or rewarding than seeing a student have a breakthrough moment — to feel their energy shift and know that they have unlocked a deeper knowing about themselves as an artist.

In addition to singing lessons, I teach: songwriting lessons, ear training, and music theory. I’m ready to go on a musical journey when you are!
