With a BFA in Musical Theatre with Minors in Piano and Theatre, an MM in Vocal Performance with an emphasis on Opera and Vocal Pedagogy, a certification from Shenandoah University in Vocal Pedagogy in Contemporary Commercial Music Styles, and extensive continuing education, Vandi has the knowledge and training to help you succeed as a musician and performing artist.
Additionally, Vandi has performed professionally in opera, musical theatre, theatre, film, jazz, and as an independent artist and songwriter.
Vandi’s students have gotten into college programs like Indiana University Bloomington, Ball State University, and Carnegie Mellon. She has had students perform in New York and in Disney Channel movies. She has also helped students write their own songs and find their own voice as recording artists.
As a professional singer, actor, and model, Vandi has worked with symphonies, chamber orchestras, opera companies, musical theatre companies, in straight theatre, in voice over, as a model, as a recording artist, and in film. Vandi offers career consulting and understands the business of the performing world. With industry connections and real-world experience, Vandi can help you set goals, strengthen the weaknesses in the package you offer, and help you come up with a game plan that will be a game changer in your performing arts career.
Vandi also has extensive training in acting techniques. Her favorite method to teach with is Meisner method which she studied in a two year training program at The Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis with Bill Simmons and Martha Jacobs.
