Hi, my name is Hannah Rice, and I am offering virtual lessons via Zoom to students of all ages and stages! I would describe myself as an encouraging, nurturing, and passionate teacher who strives to help each student achieve their unique musical goals. There is nothing more exciting to me than getting to be a part of those special,"break through" moments in lessons! While I believe in establishing a solid technique and foundation, I am also passionate about helping students to gain confidence in themselves and their performance ability so that they can have a life time of joy-filled music making.
I am currently in graduate school at USC's Thornton School of Music pursuing a dual degree in Voice Performance and Composition. I hold Bachelor of Music Degrees in both Voice and Composition, and I have a wide range of experience in singing from opera to art song to popular music, as well as thirteen years of classical piano training. In addition, I have won numerous competitions in voice and piano, and am a published composer through Hal Leonard.
