My name is Chip Wonderlin. I am a local (East Northport) youth soccer coach with over 18 years of coaching experience, available for private group and individual soccer lessons. I have an extensive coaching background having worked with players with varying ability levels and ages, including toddlers/Pre-K groups, recreation players, and high-level travel players.
I am currently coaching on Long Island with SUSA FC. Before joining SUSA, I was the Technical Director and Senior Coach at Manhattan Soccer Club, where I helped manage the coaching staff and coached premier-level travel teams that competed in Regional and National level competitions.
I can work with toddler and pre-K groups. For this age range, I specialize in getting kids acclimated to soccer in a fun, dynamic, and nurturing environment. Movement, balance, coordination, and basic social and soccer skills are developed through imaginative games and activities.
For recreation and travel-level players, I can run sessions for groups or individual players. Lessons can be tailored to target specific growth areas or cover all areas of skill development including improving ball mastery and dribbling ability, passing/receiving accuracy and touch, and shooting technique.
I can run sessions at the new SUSA FC fields in Central Islip or a location more convenient for you.
