I started my professional journey in clinical social work as a school counselor for college students. From there, I moved to a hospital environment working in adult psychiatric care as a LSW, crisis intervention and family counselor. Now I apply my work from a missional perspective as a Biblical Counselor. I specialize in trauma recovery.
However, if spirituality is not important or relevant to you, it’s not necessary for the work we do together. I welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds. I’m trained in traditional modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral and Emotion Focused Therapy (for couples). My most recent training is from Splankna Therapy Institute, which teaches a mind-body protocol similar to EMDR along with other emotional freedom techniques. I meet you where you are and am flexible.
